The Nutcracker

Our dear friends, Janusz and Gina, are the Artistic Director and Choreographer of the Georgia Ballet. Many of our school friends attend ballet classes there. Several years ago, they asked if Coleman (and now Jack) would be the Party Boys in the Party scene of the Nutcracker. It is held at the local civic center each December. They begin practicing in October and they look forward to it each year. Several other boys from their school also are in the cast. This year, Jack was chosen to be "the boy who throws the snowball" in the opening scene - we were in the midst of great talent! He took his role very seriously and was SO excited that he was chosen. Jack tends to be on the shy side so we are so happy to see him stepping out and getting excited about being in the spotlight.
